OUTGOING SMTP SERVERS.
The SMTP server is a configuration setting within all pop or imap E-mail applications. When using a pop or imap E-mail application such as Eudora, Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, Mail, Netscape, Thunderbird.... Outgoing email will not be sent if the SMTP server settings are incorrect. Receiving email most of time will still work if the SMTP is not configured correctly.
